Delete your Dyno account

Last updated 27 July 2026

Dyno is a club management app operated by Covert Digital Ltd. This page explains how to delete your Dyno account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to request account deletion

Members can delete their own account directly in the Dyno mobile app:

  1. Open the Dyno app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately, no further action is required, and you do not need to contact us.

If you can't access the app, or you're a club owner who wants to close a club (so we can wind down any active subscriptions cleanly first), email support@dyno-app.com from the address on your account and we will action the deletion. We respond within 30 days.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we immediately:

  • Anonymise your identifying fields (name, email, phone, profile details) so your account can no longer be linked to you.
  • Hard-delete your content — posts, comments and chat messages.
  • Delete your Stripe customer record, which detaches any stored payment methods.

What we're required to keep

Some records must be kept to meet legal obligations. Where we retain them, they are pseudonymised or anonymised so they can no longer be linked to you in our day-to-day systems:

  • Financial records (payments, subscriptions, refunds) — retained for 6 years from the end of the relevant tax year, as required by HMRC.
  • Waiver signatures — retained while the club requires proof of consent, typically for the limitation period of any related legal claim (commonly up to 6 years, or longer for claims involving minors).
  • Server logs — typically 30 days, longer for security incidents.
  • Backups — overwritten on a rolling basis, normally within 35 days.

For the full detail, see our Privacy Policy. Questions about your data or this process? Email support@dyno-app.com.
